About the Role

Carolina, an OFS company, is seeking applicants for multiple openings in their seating division, including Upholstery, Spring-up, Sewing, Assembly, and Truck Loaders.

Responsibilities

• Upholstery: Perform upholstery tasks including fabric trimming and attaching material to furniture frames.
• Spring-up: Install springs, webbing, and support material onto furniture frames according to production needs.
• Assembly: Use pneumatic tools to assemble a variety of chair frames.
• Sewing: Use industrial sewing machines to sew upholstery materials, following patterns and instructions.
• Truck Loader (WMS Exp. Preferred): Load finished product onto transport vehicles, verify counts, and secure loads for shipment.
• Inventory Control Technician: Manage inventory accuracy for month-end, physical inventory, and slow-moving obsolete inventory.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Upholstery and Sewing.
• Proficiency with pneumatic tools and basic hand tools.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull frames; ability to stand for extended periods and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Reliable, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
