Manufacturing Associate - Soldering I

About the role

Vanguard EMS, Inc. is dedicated to serving customers, suppliers, and communities through its service business. The Manufacturing Associate-Soldering I collaborates with the Team Coordinator and Department Supervisor to ensure all soldered components meet or exceed IPC standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow process documents and workflow instructions
• Hand solder a variety of electronic components
• Inspect and quality check own work and the work of others
• Ensure products meet all customer and regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to actively follow detailed directions written and verbal
• Ability to use a microscope for extended time
• Ability to effectively manipulate extremely small and/or fragile components and tools
• Able to work with minimal supervision and make productive use of time
• A strong work ethic and desire to succeed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
