Manufacturing Associate (Partition Fabricator)

About the role
As a Manufacturing Associate (Partition Fabricator), you will work in partnership with the team lead or supervisor to fabricate toilet partitions for commercial restrooms. You will use routers, sanders, and files to improve or correct appearance problems and perform basic routine operations.
Responsibilities
- Material handling, hand finishing, leveling bar application, packing, and crating.
- Inspect and measure cut stock to verify dimensions against specifications and maintain quality standards.
- Remove cut stock from machines and maintain production counts.
- Drill particle board using fixtures, then install T-nuts and/or inserts.
- Use pallet banding and wrapping equipment to package components for shipment.
- Check and complete paperwork prior to shipment.
- Use pack scan equipment to verify packing of components and hardware.
- Perform routine maintenance and tooling changes.
- Operate sanding machines to smooth edges of phenolic.
Qualifications
- One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Capable of using routers, files, and other shop equipment as directed and trained.
- Some shop or industrial woodworking experience preferred.
- Ability to organize your own work and determine sequences of operations.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
