Manufacturing Associate II Night

Join our dynamic team at the Windsor Production facility as a Production Team Member on 12-hour evening shifts (6pm-6am). Collaborate in the creation of wind turbine blades from fiberglass and other materials, playing a pivotal role in energizing homes across the US.

The Blades Factory in Windsor produces blades for the V163-4.5 MW turbine and the 2 MW platform within 666,000 square feet of building space. Components manufactured here are primarily used in North American turbines and exported to Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil, and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate manufacturing equipment with a strong commitment to safety protocols.
• Adhere to Process Work Instructions and engage in manual production processing to fit and assemble components (e.g., bolts, screws, shafts, or bearings).
• Exceed production benchmarks by completing tasks within designated timeframes.
• Lift, position, and remove materials from work areas.
• Load, stack, and transport materials by hand, truck, crane, or jib.
• Read and comprehend Work Process Instructions to perform tasks accurately.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

*Work environment involves exposure to latex, epoxy, and fiberglass, including fiberglass dust.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of work history in a fast-paced, physical environment (manufacturing preferred; construction, craning, warehouse, restaurant back-of-house, or fabrication experience accepted).
• 6–12 months of related manufacturing experience (composites preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Basic system skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, and Apriso preferred).
• Must pass confined spaces test and respiratory fit test as required.

Pay

$23.50 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience and skill set) + $3.00/hour shift differential.

Schedule

• Blue Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Saturday, 6pm-6:30am.
• Green Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday, 6pm-6:30am.
