About the role

We’re looking for a passionate and curious Manufacturing Associate I to join our Downstream Purification team in Redmond. In this role, you’ll drive impactful projects, collaborate with bright minds, and solve complex problems in the commercial manufacturing of mammalian cell-based biotherapeutics under cGMP conditions. You’ll execute process recipes, monitor equipment, perform sampling, and assist in media and buffer compounding while complying with safety, cGMP, and documentation standards.

Just Evotec operates 24 hours a day, and this position is for the day shift: Sunday to Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor critical processes, including single-use bioreactor operations, perfusion, chromatography, product filtration, and solution preparation.
• Support the introduction of new products and technologies into the facility.
• Initiate non-conformances (NC) and execute Electronic Batch Records (EBR) using the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Draft and revise Manufacturing Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures as needed.
• Operate and support glasswashers and autoclaves.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong focus on "right the first time" execution and attention to detail.
• Effective task and time management with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to develop solutions to technical issues of moderate scope.
• Capacity to organize, analyze, and communicate results effectively.
• Motivated self-starter with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal, team, and communication skills (oral and written).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering; or
• Associate’s degree in a science-related area and relevant experience; or
• High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of relevant experience in Manufacturing or Pharma.

Pay

The base pay range for this hourly non-exempt position is $26.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and market value.
