Manufacturing Associate I

Responsibilities

• Adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Accurately documenting production activities on paper and electronic batch production records
• Operating and maintaining production equipment used in manufacturing operations, including cleaning, preparation and hands-on application
• Identifying and addressing equipment stoppages or process deviations
• Collaboration with other team members, leadership, supporting teams and customers SME on laboratory equipment and chromatography
• Training others during daily tasks

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to work in team environments
• Experience with the operation and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment (including pumps, reactors, UV detectors, pressure tanks, and various gauges/sensors) and operation of process-scale manufacturing equipment
• Following written instructions from SOPs, BPR, EBRs and protocols
• Associate degree, or certification in related field, 0-2 years of manufacturing work experience
• Demonstrate motivation to learn and develop new skillsets
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to read SOPs and communicate effectively
• Must be fluent in reading, speaking and writing English
• Must be able to lift 40lbs and push/pull up to 200lbs for short distances
• Basic math and measurement skills for accurate material prep
• Advanced computer literacy with Microsoft Suite, including ability to work with electronic batch records
• Time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced production environment
• Works independently and can lead complex tasks
• Authors and reviews documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a classified cleanroom, and knowledge of GMP/ISO or regulated processes
• Ability to read engineering drawings and be familiar with process control software
• +2 years’ experience in Biotech manufacturing is preferred but not required

Pay

The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $23/Hr. - $27/Hr. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
