Manufacturing Associate - Day Shift

About the role

Join our dynamic team at the Windsor Production facility, where we’re looking to welcome new Production Team Members for a 12-hour day shifts (6am - 6pm). This role offers the unique chance to collaborate in the creation of wind turbine blades, crafting them from fiberglass and other materials. You’ll play a pivotal role in energizing homes across the US by bringing these monumental products to life.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operates manufacturing equipment with a strong commitment to safety protocols
• Adheres to Process Work Instructions and engages in manual production processing to accurately fit and assemble components, such as bolts, screws, shafts, or bearings into a complete assembly
• Exceed our production benchmarks by completing specific tasks within the designated timeframe, playing a key role in the collective success of our team objectives
• Lift, position, and/or remove material from work areas
• Load, stack and transport materials by hand, truck, crane or jib
• Read and comprehend Work Process Instructions and translate that into the ability to perform the tasks
• As well as any ad hoc duties that may be assigned

Requirements

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Two years of experience of either Manufacturing, Trade Labor, Craning, or Fabrication experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, including reading, writing, and speaking
• Basic system skills-Microsoft office, SAP and Apriso preferred
• Must pass confined spaces test as required
• Must be able to pass a respiratory fit test as required

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment

Pay

$23.50 - $28.00 per hour (Based on experience and skill set)

Schedule

• Yellow Shift: Thurs, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday, 6am-6:30pm
• Orange Shift: Sunday, Mon, Tues and every other Wednesday, 6am-6:30pm
