About the role
We are looking for a Manufacturing Associate – Assembler to join our Base Tube Assembly (BTA) team at Bluefors in Syracuse, NY. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on manufacturing skills while working in a collaborative, high-quality production environment that supports innovation across industries.
Main Responsibilities
- Assemble BTA components in accordance with documented procedures and specifications
- Operate and maintain tooling and production equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure all work meets established quality standards and requirements
- Complete and maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Demonstrate understanding of operational procedures and meet quality expectations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Adhere to documented procedures and ISO quality system requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to follow documented procedures and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work with tools and production equipment safely and effectively
- Basic documentation and record-keeping skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Dependability and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing setting
- Commitment to safety and following established procedures
- Able to align with company Leadership Principles and workplace competencies
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude or hands-on technical experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Familiarity with quality standards or ISO-regulated environments

Pay
Pay range: $19.23 – $24.03/hr. (DOE)
