Manufacturing Associate (Biotech) - Nights

Job Summary

A leading global biotechnology leader in Novato, CA is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Associate to join their team. This full-time contract role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commercial biopharmaceutical operations on a night shift schedule (Wednesday-Friday, alternating Saturdays).

Responsibilities

• Execute upstream and downstream bioprocess operations, including mammalian cell culture, filtration, chromatography, and formulation.
• Utilize automated manufacturing systems (LIMS, MES, PI) and support quality management tools (TrackWise, CAPAs, Deviations).
• Review, revise, and provide feedback on standard operating procedures and technical process documentation.
• Maintain strict adherence to cGMP compliance standards in a regulated commercial facility.
• Perform physical operational duties, including equipment connections, lifting up to 25 lbs, and wearing required PPE.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline/engineering OR Associate's degree/Biotech Certificate with 2+ years of biotech manufacturing or regulated industry experience.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience with bioprocess equipment and automation systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Physical ability to bend, reach, climb ladders, and lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs.
