Manufacturing Associate

This role involves performing various tasks related to product production, including inserting materials, cutting pipe, aligning parts, and assembling products.
Responsibilities
- Involves processes such as insertion of materials, clamping, fitting parts, and using hand tools.
- Cuts pipe to specific dimensions as required by fabrication jobs.
- Aligns layout marks with dies and blades, positions materials for accurate adhesive application.
- Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools and electronic pneumatic tooling.
- Creates shop drawings to indicate specific components to be processed using the V-Groover.
- Attaches appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
- Packs finished goods into correct packages and boxes, placing them on designated pallets.
- Reads job specifications to determine necessary machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, adhering to prescribed safety regulations.
- Notifies supervisors of any mechanical or material issues.
- Fulfills prescribed preventative maintenance on machines.
- Follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- An HS Diploma or GED.
- Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
- 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
- Experience in using hand and power tools for mechanical or fabrication tasks.
- Strong attention to detail for accuracy in assembly, labeling, and packaging.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and maintain quality.
- Familiarity with basic machine operation, setup, and preventative maintenance.
- A commitment to safety practices and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborative skills in a team-based production environment.

Schedule
This role is based in a comfortable indoor setting and requires intermittent periods of physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).
