Manufacturing Associate

About the role

The role of Manufacturing Associate at MegaFood involves operating equipment and performing tasks that support various business needs in manufacturing. This role may include tasks such as coating, roller compaction, blending, milling, pressing, and cleaning of manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GMP standards and quality control procedures.
• Identify and inspect materials for weighing and use.
• Verify correct materials and lots are used according to Work Orders.
• Weigh and blend materials as per Work Orders.
• Complete paperwork and use electronic batching systems.
• Operate equipment like pallet jacks, powered jacks, carts, blenders, mills, tablet coaters, granulators, and ovens.
• Perform weekly major cleanings of equipment.
• Promote a harmonious and productive team effort.
• Assist other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Preferred Manufacturing/GMP experience.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Good math skills for computing measurements and unit conversions.
• General mechanical aptitude for assembling, disassembling, and cleaning machines and equipment.
• Able to read and write numbers accurately from work orders, labels, and product lot numbers.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Reports to work daily and works overtime as required.
• Able to speak and read English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 years of work experience equivalent to a degree.

Skills

• Good math skills.
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and write numbers accurately.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to speak and read English.
