What You'll Do
- Ensure safe and quality-driven batching within expected timeframes.
- Complete cleaning/washes aligned with Food Safety & Quality requirements to avoid production interruptions.
- Work in teams of 2 or 3 in the blending room.
- Add 50 lbs bags into the blender according to recipes in the SAP software system.
- Fill, label, and palletize new bags for shipment.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality standards.
- Maintain room organization and cleanliness in a safe manner.
- Accurately enter data into SAP.
- Adhere to safety policies and maintain a hazard-free work area.
- Attend Tier 1 Meetings and provide input as requested.
- Understand room washes and allergen/non-allergen requirements.
- Maintain GMPs and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.
- Report all accidents and near-misses immediately.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
What You'll Need To Succed
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job.
- Basic computer experience.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.
- Previous Manufacturing And Blending Operation Experience (preferred).
- Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment (preferred).
- Previous Experience With Scanners/RF Guns (preferred).

Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour.
- Benefits Package: Includes medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance.
- Shift Differential: $1.50 for 3rd shift (9 pm to 5 am Sun-Thurs) and $2.00 for 2nd shift (1 pm to 9 pm Monday - Friday).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to kneel, bend, squat, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work.
- Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments.
- Environment may be dust filled at times.
- Ability to lift continuously.
- Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule.
- Ability to walk up to 135 feet one way many times a day.
- Ability to continuously stand/walk up to 12 hours.
- Ability to climb stairs or ladder.
