Manufacturing Associate

About the role

Gerdau seeks an individual to join our team as a Material Handler. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, unloading and storing materials, assisting colleagues, and temporarily covering entry-level positions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good housekeeping and a safe work area in the department
• Manually unload and store materials as directed
• Aid others in performing their duties
• Relieve entry-level positions on a temporary basis

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience working in extreme conditions (hot, humid, dirty)
• Prior exposure to the manufacturing industry preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts
