About the Role

At Form Energy, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the development and deployment of our innovative iron-air battery technology, contributing to the creation of a reliable, clean, and affordable electric grid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize iron-air battery prototypes
• Conduct research and development on battery materials and chemistry
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate battery technology into grid solutions
• Write technical reports and present findings to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in battery development or related field
• Strong understanding of electrochemistry and battery technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passion for renewable energy and sustainability
• Experience with battery testing and characterization techniques
• Knowledge of battery manufacturing processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages
• Experience with battery simulation software
• Understanding of battery safety and quality control

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
