Manufacturing Associate
Responsibilities
- Inspect materials and sort items or materials into piles or places in a container according to type, size, and condition.
- Use motor coordination with finger dexterity to sort all quick lube hardware kits.
- Perform individual day-to-day job assignments under normal supervision after competence has been demonstrated.
- Exert physical effort in handling objects up to 75 pounds for part of the workday.
- Be exposed to a physical environment involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar elements in a warehouse setting.
- Stack boxes and skids. Dump boxes and totes of material.
- Keep the surrounding work area clean.
- Follow appropriate standard operating procedures (SOPs) as a guideline for operating and maintaining equipment.
- Report any worker-public safety factors and/or equipment malfunctions.
- Attend weekly/monthly safety/operations meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Self-motivated
- Detail-oriented person
- Must be flexible to work alone or around others.
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Willing to help in other departments in the warehouse
- Great organizational skills
- Good time management skills
- Great observational skills
- Great active listening skills
