Manufacturing Associate

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials and sort items or materials into piles or places in a container according to type, size, and condition.
• Use motor coordination with finger dexterity to sort all quick lube hardware kits.
• Perform individual day-to-day job assignments under normal supervision after competence has been demonstrated.
• Exert physical effort in handling objects up to 75 pounds for part of the workday.
• Be exposed to a physical environment involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar elements in a warehouse setting.
• Stack boxes and skids. Dump boxes and totes of material.
• Keep the surrounding work area clean.
• Follow appropriate standard operating procedures (SOPs) as a guideline for operating and maintaining equipment.
• Report any worker-public safety factors and/or equipment malfunctions.
• Attend weekly/monthly safety/operations meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Self-motivated
• Detail-oriented person
• Must be flexible to work alone or around others.
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Willing to help in other departments in the warehouse
• Great organizational skills
• Good time management skills
• Great observational skills
• Great active listening skills
