This position offers an opportunity to learn time-tested methods for manufacturing excellence, including principles of Lean Manufacturing and the Toyota Production System. You will gain valuable skills and an understanding of the automatic transmission, including disassembly, inspection, assembly, tool usage, and computer system proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply time-tested methods for manufacturing excellence
• Understand and implement principles of Lean Manufacturing and the Toyota Production System
• Inspect and assemble component parts of transmissions
• Use specialty tools and gages
• Utilize a state-of-the-art computer system for work instructions
• Grow with the company by increasing knowledge of products and operations

Requirements

Prior manufacturing or automatic transmission experience would be considered a plus but is not required. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior manufacturing or automatic transmission experience is preferred but not required.
