About the role

This position involves operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines, including robotic assembly equipment, used in the production of Dexcom’s products. Responsibilities include setting up machinery, feeding materials, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and inspecting finished products against predetermined tolerances. The role requires following process sheets, written or verbal instructions, and GMP guidelines. Employees may also act as trainers and cover for leads when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and production equipment.
• Assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal, written, or diagrammed instructions.
• Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines, including robotic assembly equipment.
• Feed materials for processing, adjust settings, perform minor repairs, and pull finished product from the line.
• Work from process sheets or supervisor instructions to perform production tasks.
• Check and inspect operation results against predetermined tolerances.
• Follow GMP guidelines.
• Act as a trainer for other employees.
• Cover for Lead when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of detailed aspects.
• Ability to apply acquired job and company knowledge to complete semi-routine tasks.
• Experience operating machinery and using computers.
• Broad understanding of job functions to perform a wide range of tasks.
• Ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice.
• Diplomacy and tact in information exchange.
• Consistent accuracy to avoid delays, waste, or rework.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-6 years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Pay

$21.49 - $32.25 per hour.
