About the Role

D-tect, a VPI Technology Group (VPI) subsidiary, seeks a highly motivated entry-level individual to join our skilled manufacturing team. This full-time position is located in Draper, Utah.

Schedule

9/80 schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM–5:00 PM and every other Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Pay

$17.75 hourly with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing activities in accordance with procedures, job travelers, and instructions.
• Ensure that any special requirements documented on each specific job traveler are implemented.
• Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures.
• Assure that all paperwork is properly signed for accountability.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen (government contract requirement).
• Manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
• Previous soldering experience a plus.
• Great attention to detail.
• Manual dexterity, fine motor controls, and strong hand-eye coordination.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds infrequently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivation to complete daily production goals.
• High degree of professionalism and maturity with ability to work independently.
• Ability to adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events.
• Exercise good judgment, keeping in mind company policies and procedures.
