About the role
We are currently hiring a qualified manual SMAW (stick) and GTAW (TIG) welder for our facility in Barberton, Ohio. The welder selected for this position will set up and perform extremely critical welds using stick, TIG, electric arc and heliarc welding processes to produce pressure and strength welds in all positions. Maintaining strict compliance to technical documentation and instructions is required. Control of welding parameters, interpass cleaning and preheating is required.

Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years’ demonstrated experience performing similar welding tasks.
- High school diploma or GED equivalency.
- Must have the ability to read and understand manufacturing prints and weld data sheets.
- Must be a citizen of the United States.

Pay
The starting rate for this position in Ohio (US-OH) is $39.22 per hour. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, retirement and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment and are subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
