About the role

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 1+ years of experience in milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, and bench operations. Proficiency in reading blueprints and excellent organizational skills are essential. A plus would be experience with welding and fitting.

Responsibilities

  • Produce components by shearing, drilling, de-burring, and bench operations.
  • Assemble products as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot to find and eliminate defects to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Maintain product quality during the process.
  • Complete fit-up and tack welds of materials to be welded.
  • Measure, mark, cut, bevel, etc., material to prepare for welding.
  • Fabricate jigs and fixtures to be used in production as needed.
  • Clean, chip, grind, etc., work before and after weld.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in manual machining.
  • Ability to read blueprints and other product specs.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Dependable - arrive on time and ready for the day.
  • Ability to frequently lift/move items up to 25 pounds, sometimes over 50 pounds.
  • Experience with welding and fitting (a plus).
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Qualifications

    Pay

    $500 signing bonus, paid out as $250 after the first 3 full months and another $250 after the first 6 months.

    Schedule

    Work Day Shift, with flexible start times from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for work-life balance. Optional overtime is available.
