Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts.
- Modify parts to make or repair machine tools or to maintain industrial machines.
- Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
Requirements
- Prefers High School Diploma or GED
- 4-6 years experience in a machining work environment
- 2-3 years involvement with incoming, in-process and final inspection
- Intimate knowledge of machining practices and materials
- Read and write the English Language
- Abilities to work with varied dimensions and measurements
