Experience & Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Technical/Trade School preferred
• Minimum of 2 years in the valve repair industry
• TWIC, OSHA Safety certification, Security Passport

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately perform machining processes
• Maintain knowledge of digital read-outs (DRO)
• Machine nozzles and discs including polishing using the lathe in the shop and the field
• Machine broken studs on small bodies using the drill press
• Hone internal bores
• Use magnetic drill for stud removal
• Use drill press or pneumatic tools for disking seats
• Machine flanges (raised-face, RTJ ring joint, Grayloc, lens-ring, etc.)
• Machine seats and trim (gate, globe, and check valves)
• Machine gear operator segments
• Operate the following machines: milling machine, VTL, drill press, surface grinder, horizontal mill, manual lathes, honing tools, band and cut-off saw, and Lap Master
