If you're driven by the chance to directly impact organizational success and excited to share in the growth of an Employee-Owned Company, look no further!Essential Responsibilities: (include the following; however, other duties may apply)Operate manual machining equipment (lathes, mills, drill presses, hydraulic presses, saws) for precise fabrication, repair, and maintenance of machine parts and toolingAccurately interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and manualsFabricate components from metals, plastics, and composites to exact specificationsService and repair rotating equipment commonly found in the water and wastewater industries. Frequently working under tight deadlinesProperly select, align, secure, and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines in a safe and responsible mannerConsistently meet quality standards, ensuring accuracy with precision measurement toolsProvide recommendations to optimize machining processes for efficiency and adaptabilityPerform routine equipment maintenance and safety checksDocument precision quality repairs in our current reporting softwareQualifications & Skills:Experience as a Manual MachinistHigh mechanical aptitude with proficiency in precision measurementExperience servicing pumps or rotating equipment is a strong plusAbility to read CAD drawings and technical blueprintsPhysically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs; must pass pre-employment physical Why Join Cogent?Cogent is a dynamic, employee-owned company dedicated to innovative fluid processing solutions.
