Manual Machinist - 2nd Shift

Overview & Responsibilities

The role involves performing complex setups, selecting tooling and equipment for machining parts to required specifications. It also entails planning and overseeing repairs with minimal supervision, directing and training other employees in machine operations, and ensuring work is completed safely and on time.

• Perform complex setups, unusual machine tool operations, and measurements
• Maintains equipment through preventive maintenance and notifies for repairs
• Able to measure and record dimensional inspections
• Helps train other employees in equipment operation, tooling selection, and repair processes
• Documents actions and communicates irregularities and needs
• Updates job knowledge through training and reading technical publications
• Accepts ownership for new requests and explores opportunities
