Southern States Toyotalift is hiring experienced Forklift Technicians for multiple locations across Florida and Georgia.

About the role

As a Forklift Technician, you will perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a wide range of industrial material handling equipment, including Toyota, JLG, PowerBoss, Autocar, Columbia, Combilift, Bendi, Drexel, and Manitou forklifts and aerial platforms.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electric, LPG, diesel, and gasoline-powered forklifts and aerial lifts.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections according to manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Provide on-site field service and customer support as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a forklift or heavy equipment technician.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
• Own basic hand tools; company provides specialty tools and equipment.

Pay

Pay ranges from $22 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and location.

Schedule

• Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
• Occasional overtime and on-call availability may be required.
