About the role

We are currently looking for a Mandarin Chinese tutor for one-to-one general language training in Philadelphia, PA.

• Total hours: 20 (10 × 2-hour sessions)
• Location: at a public location in Philadelphia, PA 19102
• Student: 68-year-old gentleman, beginner level
• Schedule: once a week, on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at about 12 noon
• Start date: as soon as possible
• Student motivation: learning his wife’s family language

Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability. This is a freelance, part-time position.

Requirements

• Be a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter
• Have a valid work permit/visa
• Live within 20 miles of Philadelphia, PA 19102

Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. We are not able to sponsor visas.
