Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions to accurately create equipment and products.
• Perform manual handling tasks, including placing and positioning cylinders in workstations; may include continuously handling or removing cylinders from the production line, depending on assignment.
• Operate lifting devices and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use a grinder/buffer on cylinders, with frequency varying by assignment.
• Utilize handheld tools such as handheld screw guns, drill guns, and grinders.
• Monitor and inspect product quality to identify visual and structural defects, using required gauges and established inspection criteria.
• Rotate between multiple workstations based on production needs.

Pay

Beginning wage for this position is $19.94 per hour.
