Managing Partner

About the role

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Managing Partner (General Manager) to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations and ensure that Legendary Food and Legendary Service are consistently delivered.

Responsibilities

• Enforce compliance with all employment policies
• Direct work of management team, including setting schedules and assigning responsibilities
• Manage performance of management team through directionals, evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Hire and interview management and hourly employees
• Oversee food, labor, and liquor costs
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
• Control food costs, track waste, and manage labor costs
• Plan, prepare, and oversee inventories and budgets
• Verify adherence to audit, ESF, daily Taste & Temp, and training standards
• Maintain cleanliness and enforce security measures
• Oversee incentive programs for staff
• Develop and train key employees
• Understand and practice safe food handling procedures
• Liaise with vendors and support centers
• Lead the restaurant culture and promote core values
• Handle stress and problems in a high-volume environment

Requirements

• 2+ years or more as a GM, MP, or Multi-Unit manager in a full-service concept
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• The ability to problem solve and handle stress in a high-volume environment
