Managing Director, Professional Development & Education

About the role

The Managing Director, Professional Development & Education oversees the strategic direction and implementation of professional development programs and educational initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive professional development plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality educational programs.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
• Oversee the hiring and management of professional development staff.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in education, human resources, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in professional development and/or education.
• Proven track record of successful program development and delivery.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education or corporate training environments.
• Familiarity with industry-standard professional development tools and platforms.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

$100,000 - $120,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
