Managing Director, Financial Planning

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000 annually.

About the role

This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Spire's strategic growth plan.
• Partner with leadership to enhance service offerings.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Create and implement business development strategies.
• Build relationships with RIAs and financial advisors.
• Participate in client meetings and strategic reviews.
• Recruit and mentor financial planning professionals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of financial planning or related leadership experience.
• Proven track record in business development and revenue growth.
• Experience in guiding teams and managing strategic initiatives.
• Deep understanding of financial planning processes and advisor needs.
• CFP designation or equivalent professional credential.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
