Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivating and sustaining ties with business partners, vendors, and the board.
  • Steering business development and sustained growth in step with the parent group's worldwide strategy.
  • Delivering consistent reporting to the board covering business results and major initiatives.
  • Heading both the strategic and day-to-day direction of the North American business unit.
  • Supervising every core function, among them sales, credit, operations, and portfolio management.

Requirements

  • Comfort with financial mathematics alongside a firm understanding of legal and fiscal matters.
  • A university degree.
  • Thorough credit analysis and risk assessment skills.
  • Between 5 and 10 years in a senior leadership capacity across leasing, commercial lending, or financial services.
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead and develop teams while pushing performance forward.
  • A complete, end-to-end command of the leasing business, spanning origination, credit, operations, and portfolio management.
  • An entrepreneurial outlook paired with operational discipline.
  • P&L oversight experience covering a corporate unit that generates significant revenue.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, both inside an organization and outward toward partners and clients.
  • Exposure to a broad span of ticket sizes and the majority of asset classes.
  • Considerable flexibility, resilience, and a dependable work ethic.
  • Command of English at a native or business-proficient standard.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise systems, including ERP platforms, CRM tools, and the MS Office suite.
  • Possession of familiarity with vendor financing and dealer channel business models.
  • Earlier experience working across both European (German in particular) and North American markets.
  • Familiarity with German or another European language.
