Managing Director - Business Valuation Services

About the role

This leadership role will oversee and expand a valuation consulting practice, with a strong focus on client delivery, practice growth, and market presence. The position will partner closely with other offices and industry groups to strengthen consulting capabilities and support business development efforts. It is well suited for a senior professional who can combine technical valuation expertise with team leadership, relationship building, and strategic growth.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage the valuation consulting practice
• Perform and oversee consulting engagements as needed
• Assist in business development, including marketing materials and initiatives
• Collaborate with other offices and industry groups to enhance consulting practices
• Attend industry trade shows and conferences to represent the organization and develop leads
• Develop training programs for clients and prospects
• Participate as a speaker in valuation seminars and webinars

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics; MBA or Master's in Business Valuations preferred
• CPA, CFA, or ASA designation required
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a complex organization, particularly in public accounting or professional services
• Experience in the Private Equity industry is preferred
• Demonstrated success in business development and leading high-performing teams
• Exceptional client service skills; experience with mid-market clients is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$240,000 – $452,000 annually
