Managing Director

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Managing Director to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will oversee core operations that support client service delivery, financial performance, and execution across the practice. The Managing Director will partner closely with senior leaders, billing teams, and multi-disciplinary stakeholders to drive operational discipline and improve overall efficiency. This leader will also help shape strategic planning, strengthen pitch and proposal processes, and support profitability goals in a complex, fast-paced professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pitch and proposal activities and ensure compliance with client guidelines
• Monitor financial metrics, including work-in-progress, billing, and profitability
• Coordinate with billing teams for accurate invoicing and track collections
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams for exceptional client service
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Engage in strategic planning and monitor execution of performance goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 10+ years of legal or law firm experience focusing on practice management
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic advisory skills
• Strong communication skills for presenting complex information to senior leaders
• Proficient in problem-solving, planning, and negotiating

Pay

$203,438 – $275,000 annually
