Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute site investigation and remediation projects involving soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor intrusion, including projects with moderate to complex technical and regulatory challenges
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee field programs including sampling, drilling, well installation, remediation system implementation, and O&M
- Develop and review work plans, technical reports, conceptual site models, scopes of work, schedules, cost estimates, and health & safety plans
- Interpret environmental data, conduct QA/QC evaluations, identify data gaps, and guide technical decision-making
- Evaluate remedial alternatives and support clients in developing and negotiating cost-effective closure strategies with regulatory agencies
- Delegate work effectively, mentor junior staff, and engage ERM subject-matter experts to deliver maximum client value
- Prepare proposals and actively participate in business development and client relationship management
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with ERM colleagues, clients, regulators, and subcontractors

- Apply and advance innovative, sustainable site investigation and remediation technologies

- Support business growth through proposal development, client engagement, and repeat work
Required
- You are a technically strong consultant with proven project management experience and the confidence to lead multidisciplinary teams
- You balance field knowledge with strategic thinking, communicate effectively with clients and regulators, and take ownership of project delivery, safety, and quality
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, or a closely related discipline
- You have 4+ years of experience (5–8 years preferred) with progressive responsibility on environmental site investigation and remediation projects
- You demonstrate experience working under CERCLA, RCRA, and state regulatory programs
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce high-quality technical reports (writing sample may be requested)
- You have Environmental field experience including soil, groundwater, and vapor investigations
- You have 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
- You have a strong commitment to health, safety, and risk management
- You have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites
PREFERRED
- You have a Master’s degree in Engineering, Geology, or related field
- You have Professional licensure (PE or PG) or ability to obtain licensure in the near future
- You have experience with vapor intrusion assessment and mitigation, LNAPL/DNAPL investigations, and high-resolution site characterization tools
- You have familiarity with EQuIS or other environmental data management platforms
