Managing Consultant - M&A Data Analytics - Corporate Finance
About the role
We do Consulting Differently As a Data Analytics Manager, you'll focus on middle-market transactions, serving dynamic organizations with experienced professionals who bring a full range of advisory services to validate, optimize and create value for the Transaction Advisory Practice - all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel. Our Financial Due Diligence solution is comprised of several integrated capabilities that support our clients' needs throughout the transaction lifecycle. From day one, you'll be empowered to help clients make the moves that will help them achieve their vision and help you achieve more, confidently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee engagement execution throughout the transaction process, coordinating across various stakeholders (internal teams, external teams, etc.)
- Serve as the day-to-day point person on engagements, lead meetings and calls with clients and target management
- Guide teams through complexities of accounting related analyses, financial data, and associated reconciliations between financial data sets
- Consolidate and synthesize product, customer, and other dimension level financial and KPI deal data into trends, insights, and outliers pertinent to due diligence
- Develop dashboards to clearly articulate the insights reflected
- Utilize advanced business intelligence tools including complex calculations, table calculations, mapping, data blending and optimization of data extracts

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, team leadership, and client engagement management
- Demonstrated success with analytics and relational databases
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience analyzing and managing large datasets, identifying and extracting insights, visualizing and narrating findings
- Strong understanding of business operating cycles, including revenue cycle, procurement, inventory, supply chain, etc.
- Direct experience analyzing unit economics (price, cost, profit margins) and strong proficiency in cross-industry revenue models
- Experience in a consulting practice servicing cross-industry clients, leveraging skills in accounting/finance, due diligence, M&A, and advanced analytical methods required
- Expert knowledge of Alteryx for extraction and manipulation is required. Expert level data visualization using Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel
- SQL, Python, and other programming languages a strong plus
- CPA / MBA a strong plus

Pay
Salary Range: $120,000 to $185,000 per year.
