Managing Consultant - Healthcare Analytics

Our core strength is the ability to harness and analyze large amounts of electronic healthcare data and turn it into meaningful and insightful information. The Managing Consultant role is a mid-to-senior level consulting staff position for highly motivated problem solvers with solid analytical abilities, strong organizational skills, and a desire to advance within the organization.
This position is based in one of our BRG offices (Boston, Chicago, DC, Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, or Tampa) with an expectation of working in the office three to four days a week, on average.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium-sized client engagements and discrete segments of larger projects.
- Delegate assignments to staff, instruct and monitor progress, and review work product for completeness and accuracy.
- Develop analyses and financial models using transactional data and/or financial data.
- Design and generate client deliverables and make valuable contributions to expert reports.
- Manage client relationships and communicate results and work product as appropriate.
- Prioritize assignments and responsibilities to meet goals and deadlines.
- Participate in group practice meetings, contribute to business development initiatives, and office functions such as staff training and recruiting.
- Demonstrate creativity and efficient use of relevant software tools, analytical methods, and computer models to develop solutions.
Requirements
- BS/BA with a focus in quantitative analytics (accounting, finance, economics, information systems, mathematics) or related field.
- 6+ years of prior professional experience in data analytics; prior experience in healthcare/litigation consulting is highly preferred.
- Experience in disputes & investigations or healthcare research and/or analysis is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a team environment, supervising and managing team members is required.
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to independently execute complex data analytics in either SQL or R at an advanced level is required; proficiency in additional programming languages (Python, STATA, SAS, etc.) is considered a plus.
- An interest in growing these skills and training others is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to submit verification of legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
Pay
Managing Consultant Salary Range: $140,000 – $185,000
Senior Managing Consultant Salary Range: $160,000 – $225,000
