Managing Consultant - Global Construction

About the role
BRG’s Global Construction is seeking a Managing Consultant to work collaboratively as part of a team and support several experts on various projects. The role involves providing support in claims and dispute resolution, including:
- Construction Claims and Disputes Services
- Delay and Disruption Analysis
- Construction Labor Productivity Analysis
- Claim/Change Order Preparation/Analysis
- Construction Defect Analysis
- Standard of Care Expert Witness Testimony
- Discovery Services
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate creativity and efficiently use relevant software tools, analytical methods, and computer models to develop solutions.
- Develop and maintain electronic databases, spreadsheets, and other files as dictated by project needs.
- Perform detailed research and analysis, including gathering, reviewing, and summarizing literature and data from public, industry, or client sources.
- Audit own work and the work of others to ensure quality.
- Organize case documents and create/maintain document libraries (hard copy and electronic).
- Perform detailed schedule analysis to determine the source, magnitude, and cause of critical path delays and non-critical impacts on construction projects.
- Participate in a positive team environment and meet client deadlines and quality expectations.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in engineering or construction management; MS or MBA is highly preferred.
- Minimum ten (10+) years of field experience in the construction industry.
- Experience with cost estimating, change order pricing, time requests, or managing claims.
- Experience developing, preparing, maintaining, updating, reviewing, and analyzing schedules (P6, MSP, or other platforms).
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with and lead teams.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with travel required for client work as needed.
- Must be able to verify legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Pay
$100,000 - $140,000 per year
