Managing Consultant, Environmental Project Manager

Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver high-profile site investigation, risk assessment, and remediation projects under CERCLA, RCRA, and state programs.
- Shape strategies for environmental liability management across manufacturing, power, chemical, oil & gas, and technology sectors.
- Evaluate remedial alternatives and negotiate cost-effective closure strategies with regulatory agencies.
- Mentor junior staff, delegate tasks effectively, and engage technical experts to maximize client value.
- Support business development through proposals, presentations, and client relationship management.
- Champion innovation by integrating new technologies to improve project efficiency and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, or a related discipline. Or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of progressive project management and technical experience in site investigation/remediation under CERCLA, RCRA, and state programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams.
- Environmental field experience and 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
- Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to health and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering or geology.
- Professional license (PE, PG) or ability to obtain one soon.
- 5–8 years of experience managing complex projects.
- Familiarity with environmental data management tools (e.g., EQuIS).
- Experience with vapor intrusion investigations and remediation.
- Understanding of electronic field data collection and reporting technologies.

Pay
The anticipated annual base pay for the Managing Consultant, Environmental Project Manager position is $96,083-$120,105 USD. Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
Schedule
This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
