Managing Consultant, Capital Project Delivery

About the Role

Lead environmental permitting and compliance for large-scale projects in renewable energy, transmission, and oil & gas sectors. Oversee NEPA processes, ESA consultations, habitat conservation plans, and mitigation strategies. Provide strategic guidance, build stakeholder relationships, and enhance the company's reputation in sustainability and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting and compliance efforts for large-scale projects.
• Oversee NEPA processes, ESA consultations, habitat conservation plans, and mitigation strategies.
• Manage client engagements to ensure project scope, budget, and quality meet expectations.
• Provide strategic guidance and build stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure regulatory alignment and deliver impact assessments and management plans.
• Maintain high standards for health & safety, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
• Develop impact assessments, mitigation strategies, and manage consultations.
• Guide clients strategically to add value while ensuring regulatory adherence.
• Uphold health & safety standards and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

• BS/MS in environmental science, natural resources, ecology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years (8 preferred) in consulting with expertise in NEPA impact assessment and multi-media permitting.
• Proven project and team management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional technical writing and communication abilities.
• Collaborative mindset with a commitment to sustainability.

Preferred Experience

• Established client relationships in Midwest energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Experience with international projects and global regulatory frameworks.
