About the Role

Seeking an experienced Georgia Managing Attorney to lead its Georgia office and oversee several core practice divisions, including foreclosure, dispossessory/eviction, and real estate title and closing matters. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an attorney ready to take on responsibilities beyond individual case management.

The Managing Attorney will lead attorneys and legal support teams, oversee legal and operational performance, improve processes, guide strategy, support clients, and contribute to the continued growth of the Georgia practice.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Georgia foreclosure, dispossessory/eviction, and real estate title and closing divisions.
  • Supervise, mentor, train, and support attorneys, paralegals, processors, and legal support staff.
  • Oversee case strategy, workflow, deadlines, hearings, file progression, client expectations, and overall division performance.
  • Review and approve pleadings, motions, affidavits, notices, correspondence, title documents, closing documents, and other legal work product.
  • Handle hearings, mediations, depositions, trials, closings, escalated matters, client calls, and complex legal issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Georgia law, court rules, local practice requirements, client guidelines, investor requirements, regulatory obligations, and firm policies.
  • Work closely with firm leadership to strengthen systems, improve workflows, enhance quality control, and support continued growth.
  • Identify training and staffing needs and implement practical solutions to improve team performance and client service.
  • Promote a professional, accountable, respectful, and team-oriented culture.
  • Serve as a trusted leader who sets high standards for legal quality, responsiveness, judgment, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Active Georgia Bar membership in good standing.
  • 7+ years of meaningful legal experience handling foreclosure, dispossessory/eviction, and real estate title and closing matters.
  • Strong knowledge of Georgia foreclosure practice, dispossessory/eviction procedures, real estate title issues, closing processes, and creditor rights.
  • Previous experience managing or supervising attorneys, paralegals, processors, or legal support staff.
  • Excellent legal writing, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple divisions, competing deadlines, and high-volume legal workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, professionalism, and client-service orientation.
  • Ability to lead with confidence, accountability, respect, and practical business judgment.
  • Tennessee Bar admission is a plus.
