Manager, Workday Financial Systems and Innovation

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Workday Financial Systems and Innovation to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead financial systems support and innovation efforts, with a strong emphasis on improving the effectiveness of finance operations through technology. The manager will guide governance, roadmap planning, and release management for the company's financial systems environment. This position will partner closely with finance leaders and stakeholders to evaluate enhancements, resolve issues, and deliver practical improvements that strengthen system performance and business value. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $104,000 – $140,000 annually Responsibilities Build and develop a high-performing financial systems support team Lead finance systems governance and roadmap planning Oversee application support and incident resolution Manage planning, testing, and deployment of system updates Evaluate system modifications for business value and feasibility Advise leaders on system capabilities and process improvements Provide updates on priorities and risks to stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years of experience in financial systems or finance operations 1+ year of leadership experience in projects or workstreams Experience with Workday Financials or relevant training Proven ability to translate business needs into system enhancements Strong project management skills with risk mitigation experience Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences Benefits Annual bonus target of 10% subject to plan terms Commitment to an equitable and respectful hiring process Opportunities for continuous learning and development Support for AI adoption and exploration in the workplace Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
