Manager Volunteer Services

About the role

The Manager Volunteer Services for Community Hospital San Bernardino will oversee volunteer programs and training initiatives to support the hospital's mission, vision, and values. This role involves managing recruiting, training, and scheduling of volunteers, as well as providing volunteers for community outreach activities.

Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for overseeing community benefits programs and submitting quarterly data including annual community benefits reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee volunteer programs and training initiatives
• Manage recruiting, orienting, and training of volunteers and employees
• Provide volunteers for community outreach activities
• Oversee community benefits programs and submit quarterly data

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, or a combination of education and/or additional job-related experience in lieu of the degree.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in related volunteer services in a supervisory, management, or leadership role, including recruiting, orienting, and training volunteers and employees.
• Experience in project management, event planning, budget administration, and program development required.
