Manager Volunteer Services
About the role
Manage volunteer operations. Coordinate, integrate, and implement volunteer representative services within all departments requesting volunteer assistance.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that guide and support the services offered.
Determine the qualifications and competence of volunteer personnel. Select, recruit, and manage volunteers.
Implement orientation and in-service training.
Manage department functions and maintain appropriate quality control through continuous assessment and improvement practices.
Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
Participate on various committees and councils to identify opportunities for patient services improvement and subsequently deploy volunteer services accordingly.

Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Certification specializing in Volunteer Services preferred.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
