Responsibilities

  • Data gathering, document review and preparation of quality of earnings reports.
  • Research and financial analysis of target companies.
  • Due diligence for both buy side and sell side transactions.
  • Communication with clients to ensure delivery of exceptional client service.
  • Participation in various marketing and recruiting activities of the firm.
  • Opportunities for career development and to advance within the transaction advisory services group.
  • Utilization of your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community.
  • Investment in your professional development individually and through participation in firm wide learning and development programs.
  • Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in a large accounting firm in audit, financial advisory or transaction service lines.
  • A relevant bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related.
  • Certified public accountant (CPA) preferred, not required.
  • High motivation, initiative and positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities appropriately.
  • Intermediate modeling and excel skills, experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and ability to generate data-driven insights.
  • Ability to work autonomously, to meet tight deadlines, and to thrive in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting analyses to management and ability to lead and drive initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively and thrive in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in various industries.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior level client personnel, including supporting the preparation of and participating in executive briefings.

Pay

The pay rate range for this job position is $126,000-$182,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
