Manager - Transaction Advisory - Financial Due Diligence
About the role
A&M is a global consulting firm with over 10,000 professionals in 40+ countries. We provide financial and accounting due diligence services to private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family offices, and corporations globally. We seek a Manager to join our growing team in New York, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Nashville, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Counsel and mentor Associates and Senior Associates.
- Manage and prioritize team responsibilities and consult with Managing Directors and senior members of the team as needed.
- Maintain and update the budget and fee analysis as necessary.
- Manage multiple chargeable and non-chargeable projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Review and evaluate project data books prepared by team members.
- Generate a full due diligence report.
- Lead the Quality of Earnings, P&L, and Working Capital analyses.
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding engagement matters (billing, status updates, scope of procedures, scope changes, request lists).
- Effectively manage day-to-day client interaction and relationships.
- Develop and propose creative solutions to engagement and transaction risks and effectively manage problem resolution.
- Proactively recruit, train, and develop Associate and Senior Associates, including teaching training classes as applicable.
- Gather applicable conflict check information and coordinate with Managing Directors to set up engagement codes and other engagement requirements.
- Assist Managing Directors and Senior Directors in sales and business development efforts.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5-8 years of audit and financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and/or related field.
- CPA certification or in the process of obtaining one.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay
The base salary is $160,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. A discretionary bonus program is also offered based on individual and firm performance.
Schedule
