Manager - Transaction Advisory - Financial Due Diligence

A&M is a global consulting firm with over 10,000 professionals in 40+ countries. We provide financial and accounting due diligence services to private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family offices, and corporations worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Counsel and mentor Associates and Senior Associates.
  • Manage and prioritize team responsibilities and consult with Managing Directors and senior members of the team as needed.
  • Maintain and update the budget and fee analysis as necessary.
  • Manage multiple chargeable and non-chargeable projects of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Review and evaluate project databooks prepared by team members.
  • Generate a full due diligence report.
  • Lead the Quality of Earnings, P&L, and Working Capital analyses.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding engagement matters (billing, status updates, scope of procedures, scope changes, request lists).
  • Effectively manage day-to-day client interaction and relationships.
  • Develop and propose creative solutions to engagement and transaction risks and effectively manage problem resolution.
  • Proactively recruit, train, and develop Associate and Senior Associates, including teaching training classes as applicable.
  • Gather applicable conflict check information and coordinate with Managing Directors to set up engagement codes and other engagement requirements.
  • Assist Managing Directors and Senior Directors in sales and business development efforts.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of audit and financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and/or related field.
  • CPA or in the process of obtaining one.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Flexibility to work in both a collaborative setting and as an individual contributor.

Benefits

The base salary is $160,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
