About the Role
Provides support to management of assigned division by identifying training needs and developing and implementing training programs to improve key performance areas. Responsible for Regional Field Trainers' scheduling and development, and for ensuring field training workshops are scheduled and conducted as needed for store team members and managers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and schedule Regional Field Trainers in the division.
- Ensure proper training of all team members at new store openings.
- Monitor store manager changes in the division and follow up with applicable RMs/DMs to ensure all managers are properly trained.
- Coordinate and conduct field training workshops for store team members and management.
- Monitor training compliance and provide feedback to applicable RMs/DMs to assist in improving performance.
- Assist new DMs in their role, focusing on time management, establishing routines, meeting and presentation skills, and report handling.
- Work closely with DVP to monitor key performance areas such as sales, team member turnover, NCOs/PMs, and shrink of the division.
- Provide input and assistance in developing action plans for store and/or team member performance improvement.
Requirements
- Ability to think and work independently with high self-motivation.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and human relations skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically.
- Ability to lead and supervise personnel without direct contact.
- Knowledge of O'Reilly operations, policies, and procedures.
- Extensive travel required.
Qualifications
- Some PC skills (desired).
- Store manager experience (or higher) with a training or teaching background (desired).
