About the role
K&B Garage Doors, a DH Pace Company, is seeking a Manager Trainee for our Las Vegas, NV office. This position involves managing day-to-day operations, planning and implementing schedules, ensuring customer commitments are met, and improving performance of the field force.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the department
- Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure proper execution
- Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost-effective manner
- Ensure projects are completed on time, under budget, and to customer satisfaction
- Review monthly financial/operational reports and work with front-line managers to develop action plans for improvement
- Improve individual performance of the field force managed through daily, monthly, and yearly performance reviews
- Aid in hiring, training, and developing new employees
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred; minimum of two (2) years of experience managing personnel; equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered
- Responsible for communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction levels consistently exceed expectations
- Review customer survey data, respond to customer concerns
- Possess an ability for technical applications and mechanical systems
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record
