Manager, Tech Operations (Intelligent Foundations & Experiences - Finance Tech)

Responsibilities
- Manage teams providing technology support operations in the areas of end user support, IT incident management, change management, problem management, knowledge management, endpoint management, and business controls
- Lead and develop teams to support business growth, service goals, and compliance with corporate policies, standards and security regulations
- Drive operational excellence by developing metrics and dashboards to monitor service performance, availability, and end user satisfaction
- Oversee implementation and ongoing improvement of monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices to ensure rapid issue detection and resolution
- Partner with engineering and security teams to identify opportunities for automation, tooling, and process optimization that enhance reliability and reduce manual effort
- Establish and maintain documentation standards and knowledge management practices to ensure consistency across teams and locations
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of experience managing IT projects or operations teams
- At least 6 years of Technical Operations experience
- At least 3 years of people management experience
- At least 6 years of experience in IT systems and infrastructure
- At least 6 years of experience with desktop platforms and operating systems
- At least 6 years of experience in technical operations or end user technical support
- At least 4 years of experience managing system monitoring and incident response processes at the enterprise level
- At least 4 years of experience leading automation initiatives or workflow improvements within operational teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- 5+ years of people management experience
- 6+ years of experience in Project Management (planning, executing, tracking)
- 7+ years of experience with IT systems and infrastructure
- ITIL or Cloud Certification
- 4+ years of experience defining, implementing, and leveraging process (change, incident, problem) management functions
- Experience developing and reporting operational KPIs or service-level objectives
- Experience collaborating with engineering or product teams to improve platform reliability and service continuity
- Experience managing vendor relationships or third-party service providers supporting technology operations
Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role by location:
- Cambridge, MA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Tech Operations
- Chicago, IL: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Tech Operations
- McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Tech Operations
- Richmond, VA: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Tech Operations
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
