How You Will Succeed

  • Develop quarterly staffing plans
  • Ensure applicant tracking systems are maintained
  • Ensure internal job postings are visible
  • Ensure onboarding and offboarding processes are timely, organized, and positive

  • Collaborate with trainers and managers
  • Drive the new-hire onboarding check-in process
  • Analyze time-in-position data and identify training and development opportunities
  • Stay in Sync
  • Attend Community and manager meetings
  • Observe new Team Members on shift
  • Partner with department managers and HR to coordinate leaves of absence and return-to-work transitions
  • Share engagement and retention insights with the GM and Area Director
  • Identify internal talent for hourly leadership roles
  • Add a Touch
  • Coordinate charity events and community involvement opportunities
  • Lead the creation of monthly boards with tasting notes, Chef Recs, and Wine Club updates
  • Coordinate celebrations, events, and milestones
  • Lead the celebration of Team Member achievements and life events
  • Interact with Guests and Team Members in the restaurant

Qualifications

  • Must represent Cooper's Hawk Values
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Experience as a New Restaurant Opening Trainer, Lead Restaurant Trainer, or in management at Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants or previous management experience with another restaurant concept
  • A passion for hospitality
  • Knowledge of operations in the tasting room, front of house, and kitchen
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of first aid and handling emergencies
  • Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and some holidays
  • Able to perform essential functions to company standards with reasonable accommodation
  • Able to read, write and understand English
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand for at least 10 hours per shift
  • Able to work 50-60 hours per week
